In recent years students have taken part annually in the SMASH program designed to develop physical co-ordination, ball skills and teamwork.

In 2007, Deepwater students attended a week long Winter Skiing Sport and Recreation Camp at Lake Jindabyne. In December 2008, students will be attending a Summer Sports Camp at Lake Ainsworth.
